My two kids are showing an inclination to music, specifically guitars. They got their inspiration from their Dad who is a guitarist. Just look at Zack strumming his toy guitar. He already looks like a pro when holding his small guitar. My kids are really lucky their Dad has lots of patience teaching them to play this instrument. The whole world is mourning today as it emerged music icon, Whitney Houston, died during the weekend. I grew up listening to her songs and singing it during my childhood. I also watched her super famous movie, The Bodyguard, so she has been a part of my childhood. It was unfortunate that as the years go by her star dwindled as I heard reports she has become a drug addict. Now her life is over at the young age of 48. Such a waste of life and talent! Hubby and I were talking about Lady Gaga the other day. He said at first he didn’t realize how talented she was but when he found out she was the one writing her own songs he was definitely amazed. I’m not really a music fan but I have to admit that Lady Gaga’s songs have a life on their own. They really grow on you and you can’t help but sing it too.
