My gosh, the heat is so oppressing! I can’t believe we’re having 30+ degree celcius temperatures almost everyday. A year ago the thermometer won’t even reach 30s but now this has become the new norm. I’m glad we have already taken care of our shih tzu’s long hair. Before summer came we went to the groomer to have all his thick long hair shaved. Applying as a VA...

My mom is applying as a VA. She is quite nervous since it is her first time to do this. She has been employed before but now that she is already near retiring age she wants to try working at home. I’m positive she will find employment soon. She would need to learn to use email, be active in social network sites, and learn about audio conferencing services but these are all doable. Right now she just needs to have confidence in herself and show prospective employers that she’s trustworthy and capable to do any job. Oh well, I’m already excited for her....

The news about the three celebrities that fought in NAIA was what greeted me in the beginning of this week. As expected, two version of the events is circulating. Each group is insisting the other gave the first punch. It still shocks me how people can behave like this. I’m really disappointed with the celebrity couple for making a scene at the airport. If you make a scene expect others to take notice. But at the same time, the journalist should know that it’s not always proper to take pictures even though it’s his job.
