My Secret to Staying Slim...

You know what I like about breastfeeding? It’s like one of those weight loss pills that work. My son is already one year old but he still breastfeeds a lot! I don’t complain here. I benefit from his constant breastfeeding. I find that I can actually eat a lot and still stay slim. It’s perfect for Christmas really! The holidays can really be unforgiving for the dieters. I don’t think anybody can resist the urge to eat and eat. I don’t blame people because this is the time to be merry. And who can be merry with an empty stomach? Definitely not...

Spongebob 48 Hour Marathon at Nickelodeo...

My son loves Spongebob. That’s what he always watch on TV. He is not into stuffed toys that much but when we went out look what he wanted me to buy. Stuffed toys are renowned dust collectors. So I cringed when he gave me that irresistible look. Good thing he changed his mind right away. Our house is crowded enough as it is so when he said he’d rather buy another toy I let out a sigh of relief. whew! What he doesn’t want to miss is the Spongebob 48 hour marathon at Nickelodeon. It’s happening from December 31 to January 2. He’s already...

We Finally Got a No Exam Life Insurance ...

After various posts about not having life insurance, I’m so happy to report that our family finally has one. Yahoo! We had a pleasant surprise one day when we heard our neighbor knocking on our door. It turned out she was an insurance agent from Insular Life. She offered us her products but at first I wasn’t interested because it was way too expensive for us. Finally, after six visits I finally got I was looking for. An inexpensive term life insurance that our family needed. If the looking for the perfect product part was long, the processing of the documents...

My Hubby’s Guitars...

My husband loves to play the guitar. He has been playing since he was in his teens. He said he broke his very first guitar and his Dad didn’t buy him ever since. So when he was older he wanted to buy lots of guitars. When he was working the very first thing he brought with his bonus money was an ibanez. It is a big guitar with a rich orange hue. He takes care of it like it was his child that sometimes I’ll get jealous. LOL! He bought a big case to protect it and I remember it would take a big space in our really small apartment. He wanted to display it...

David Beckham in Manila...

David Beckham and his team, LA Galaxy, arrived in Manila as part of their football tour. They played against our local team, Azkals. I wanted to go and watch them play because this is a once-in-a-lifetime event but the tickets were so outrageous! I even wanted to apply for Ticketing Agent Jobs just so I can get a discount. Anyway, I didn’t make it but I was content to watch the game on TV. Beckham gave a good show and even extended his play when he heard our very own Filipino boxing champion, Manny Pacquiao arrived to watch him play. He even took off his jersey and...
