Bathroom Improvement...

One thing we like in our current apartment is our large bathroom. You know how small apartments are here in the Philippines so you can understand how even smaller the bathrooms could be. However, we are blessed that the bathroom is quite spacious that we can do our laundry here with no problem. Z loves our bathroom too because during summer this is where he spends hours playing inside his small pool. One thing it’s lacking though is a good bathroom lighting. We just have a normal CFC light in the middle and that’s it. I know that a good lighting can add beauty...

John Mayer in SM MOA, Manila Seat Plan...

John Mayer will be at SM MOA on May 16 and hubby is already so excited with the event. However, when he saw the seat plan he was disappointed because the Bronze section is already so far away from the stage.  Me, I’m wondering how they’re going to handle that sort of crowd? This is the first time I’m going to a concert (I’m not kidding! hehe) and I’m looking forward to this but if the organizers are inefficient then this supposed to be wonderful experience can turn out ugly. I’m willing to bet as early as now the concert is going to...

Earthquake!...

We experienced an earthquake last week. It was only 4 in magnitude but more than 6 magnitude was measured in the center. I hope this will be the last quake in many years as I’m really concerned with the building my husband is working at right now. I’m not sure if it’s one of those metal buildings that can withstand earthquakes better. Anyway, this was Z’s first time to experience a quake although he was playing around when it happened and he didn’t notice it even when I tried to tell him about it he still didn’t feel anything. I’m...

Earth Hour...

For the first time our household participated in the recent Earth Hour. As hubby declared that we close all the lights, our curious little boy kept on asking what FR was. He misheard hubby and thought Earth Hour was “FR.” hihi With no lights and nothing else to do the whole family decided to sleep early so all in all we saved the earth a couple of hours by going to bed early. ...

Movie Weekend...

We watched How to Train a Dragon last Sunday. I have not heard any reviews of it so I was hesitant at first but hubby insisted he heard it was really good. While hubby was buying some tickets Z was watching a preview of it on a screen outside the movie house. While this face convinced me it was worth trying… The picture below wanted me to hurry S to buy those tickets! I knew we had to get inside the moviehouse asap or else a fly might find its way into that wide opened mouth. Yes, his mouth was wide open like that and I had to remind him to close it which he did...

I Finally Found the Best Way to Diet...

… Miniature food! You get to finish all and not gain an ounce. Isn’t that perfect? Plus these are too cute to eat anyway so you surely won’t have the stomach to eat it....

Call Center Agent Dolls...

You gotta see these call center agent dolls – so very cute! Taking calls for eight hours and looking at the computer screen can be stressful and tiring. That’s why call center agents got to have these cuties. One look and it can take the stress away! Anyway, I’m going to contact Oliver the maker of these dolls (look at the watermark) and ask him if he can make a John Mayer doll complete with guitar for my husband. Couldn’t wait to see the look on his face once he sees that. He can put it on his office table which I hope can take all his stress...

Gonuts Donuts Halo Halo...

Tired from our weekend window shopping we decided to stop by at Gonuts Donuts last weekend.  We shared three pieces of donuts and one halo halo. While Z tucked into his donut like there’s no tomorrow, hubby and I took turns eating our one halo halo. While waiting for my turn I teased him to pretend he’s a model of Gonut Donut’s halo halo while I took his picture. I had a hard time taking a good picture of him. This was by far his best shot. When it was my turn I realized the best way to take a picture while eating was by to stop eating and just...
