Ako si Kim Sam Soon

Ako si Kim Sam Soon premiered last June 30 at GMA Kapuso network and it is already in the top 3 in the ratings. The starring role went to Regine Velasquez and her leading man is played by Mark Anthony Fernandez. It seems that Mark Anthony Fernandez has successfully reinvented himself. I saw him at Showbiz Central and I was amazed at the change in his appearance, he is leaner, fitter and definitely hotter.
Ako si Kim Sam Soon was based on the Koreanovela My Name is Kim Sam Soon which is about a middle-aged chubby girl with no social life and whose passion is baking. She caught her boyfriend with another girl and was broken-hearted. She found herself a job as a baker and worked under an arrogant and rude man named Hyun Jin-Heon (Cyrus). Because of some financial problems she agreed to pretend to be Cyrus’ boyfriend which led them to be close to each other. Things started to fell apart when Cyrus’ ex-girlfriend came back to the scene and made things worst for Kim Sam Soon. In the end Cyrus realized he loved Kim Sam Soon over his ex. He went abroad to accompany his ex back home with Kim’s blessings but did not come back on time and sent post cards to the wrong address. But in the end of course they got back together.
